Queen Letizia sports a smart casual look for Exemplary Town of Asturias Award

The King and Queen of Spain, accompanied by their daughters Princess Leonor of Asturias and Infanta Sofía visited Santa María del Puerto in the municipality of Somiedo.

The royal family presented the Exemplary Town of Asturias Award 2021 to the village, for “embodying the model of a mountain town that has known how to adapt to the new times”.

They unveiled a commemorative plaque before visiting a woodcraft workshop and the stone fountain. They also visited the Santa María parish complex and signed the Somiedo Natural Park Book of Honor.

To conclude their visit to the town, Princess Leonor presented the Exemplary People of Asturias Award 2021 and both she and King Felipe made speeches.

As you can see here there is very litlle difference in height between Leonor-Letizia and Sofía, 1,70 and 1,74 more or less.
Sofía is still very young, only 14 years old , so It is not appropiate for her age to wear heels.

Sofia's outfit stands out to me on this occasion. I'm a huge fan of nordic sweaters and this one is beautiful. It pairs very well with the ice blue jacket and white jeans even though we can barely see it. Hopefully she will wear it again so we can see it in it's full glory.

Such a well-coordinated family! I'm very fond of that HB trench on Letizia, it always looks so neat. I love her smart new walking boots. My favourite might possibly be Sofia's pretty blue Roberto Verino car coat though Leonor is very on-trend with her edgy houndstooth Designers Society bomber jacket

I love the outfit the Queen is wearing, the scarf is divine. A very appropriate outfit. In winter months my attire is very similar to this, trench coat, scarf and pants. I love scarfs, particularly silk and put them with everything literally, I wear all year round. I certainly don't carry my ensemble near as good as the Queen. Both young ladies look fabulous, particularly love the blue coat, gorgeous.
