The coordinating ensemble from the Spanish high-street label consists of a long asymmetric top and side vent trousers.
Queen Letizia stepped out in a vibrant orange set by Zara for today's engagements on Day 2 of State Visit to Argentina.

Letizia contrasted the vibrant set with navy accessories. There are no clear photos of her bag and shoes so I can only speculate that she wore her Nina Ricci navy suede pumps.
The most notable addition to her outfit was a beautiful bee brooch.
Núria Tiburcio tells me the brooch was a gift from the Dominican First Lady, Candida Montilla, when Letizia visited the country last year. It comes with matching earrings.
Letizia finished the look with simple gold hoop earrings which I believe are the hoops from her Coolook 'Rain' collection earrings.

What a stunning pick by Letizia from a relatively modest label - who needs high end? She has a fondness for loose asymmetric tops and this fits right into her style zone. The trailing tail back of the top is romantic and a touch dressy for evening, the trousers are nicely judged with a loose but not over-wide leg. The bee brooch is a charming diplomatic touch, and hair straight, loose and simple is spot on. Wonderful.

My bad - this was a daytime engagement, not evening. But it's loose casual vibe would help transition from one to the other ;)

Letizia has done it again! She's again proven that you can look a million dollars while wearing high-street! I also follow the British duchesses but I'm gobsmacked at their spending especially Meghan. Despite their unlimited clothing budget they don't hold a candle to the Queen of Spain. Letizia is in a league of her own. Elizabeth, thank you for your ongoing commitment to this blog. I'm grateful to have this little escape and it's refreshing to see a royal lady wear clothes with such confidence regardless of the price tag.

I agree it's a pleasure to see such a veteran of royal style as Letizia at work. However she"d had several years' start on the younger BritRoyals and had her share of not-so-clever appearances on the way. In particular I think Meghan has come under a whole extra degree of pressure and in a way I could see her pricey outfits as a means almost of defence, or a way to prove she"s still good enough to be part of the BRF. Definitely early days there :)

I agree, Sammy. That is what I love so much about the Spanish royal family- they are so conscious of not looking too extravagant. In fact, if I'm not mistaken only Felipe and Letizia carry out engagements and receive tax money (perhaps his parents too). So they are very small in size unlike other monarchies which cost a fortune. This cost consciousness is to be commended.

Juliana Awada is wearing Zara honouring Spain. Argentina and Spain always have been very close.

The Zara pantsuit is amazing. I really like this design. It is unique and different without being over the top. The asymmetric jacket really gives this outfit a dramatic effect. I'm just not so crazy about the orange colour. But it's a credit to Letizia for trying something new and bless her for adding that adorable pin. I couldn't help but notice Juliana Awada's outfit. I always felt you should never wear printed separates together because it looked too busy. But in this case since the prints are different sizes, I think it works. My mind has been opened to new ideas but I'm not sure I myself have the courage to try it.

I love this outfit, a bit different. I really like how the Queen experiments with different outfits. Her colour combination shoes and bag are fantastic.

Superb outfit, so striking in design and colour and the Queen makes it look so effortless. Great pieces from high street retailer Zara! with Letizia's poise and well chosen navy accessories it looks very expensive and chic. The brooch is a welcome addition adding a little interest, I love the simplicity of the gold hoops and natural hairstyle. I don't want this trip to end!
