Queen Letizia steals the show in a navy Miphai dress for the season opening at the Royal Theatre

The King and Queen of Spain presided over the premiere of the opera “Aída” by Giuseppe Verdi, on the occasion of the inauguration of the 2022/2023 opera season at the Teatro Real (Royal Theatre) in Madrid on Monday evening.

Their Majesties watched the performance from the Royal Box.

After the performance, King Felipe and Queen Letizia met with directors and artists of the 'Aida' opera.

This dress has a fun, whimsical style with the flounce at the hem and open back. It shows off Letizia's very muscular physique. The navy colour looks great with the metallic accessories. The earrings are also fabulous.

This is a unusual gown, with interesting features. I don't normally like hemlines such as this, but I love this one! The open back the Queen wears, with flair and panache. I think she looks fabulous. The color of the gown, subtle blue shade of blue, gorgeous, she wears this so well. Love the earrings, very pretty. The accessories are perfect. ( I do think the model's shoes are beautiful) I feel its very admirable that the Queen supports Spanish fashion and business, both the gown and earrings, well done to her.

An absolutely fabulous dress, I simply love the flamenco style ruffle skirt, couldn't be much better for a Spanish Queen at the opera.It seems a remarkably good fit for the price-range. The bateau neckline and three-quarter sleeves are most flattering as is the colour, and I like how the fitted bodice ends in a neat waistband.

I very much admire the huge cut-out on the back helping to up the drama, although in some lighting the photographs were not flattering to Letizia's back. The metallic accessories from Magrit were inspired and the new two-tone Sibela earrings are great fun, with their translucent drops able to blend in naturally.
