Another small Spanish designer, not very known. They must be thrilled, everybody scrolling their web.

I checked out the Cayro site. There were more appropriate dresses Letizia could have chosen. Such as the Bicolor Knit Dress Bugambilla-Red. Why did she pick this one? Every once in a while Letizia shocks us by wearing something outrageous.

That is your opinión, I like this dress and It is on fashion in Spain and appropiate, probably in other countries people are different.

Oh no, I don't like the bare waist/ peakaboo feature of this dress. I like the sleeves and the colour is great but it's a bit too daring. And the ring thing in the middle makes the dress look more appropriate for the beach or an informal affair. I understand that the Spanish people are more open to these unconventional styles but I think it is inappropriate for royalty.

Sorry but this is a loser. It looks cheap, and I'm not speaking about the cutouts. The fabric just doesn't have a good "feel" to it to me.

I hate to come across as a prudish person, but I think this dress is totally inappropriate for royalty to wear. The exposure of skin, gives off a sexy vibe, that is unnecessary, even though Letizia is a very attractive woman. There is a less than classy vibe, not befitting the wearer or the event. The colour is beautiful, as are the accessories, but the exposed waistline, anywhere other than the beach, is a cheap look.

Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I don’t think the cut-outs showing the queen’s torso are appropriate for the occasion. The color of the dress is lovely on the queen, however.

Ummmm….I like the earrings but that’s about all! For me there is too much pink and I am definitely not fond of this dress.

Oh dear. Is it conceivable Letizia might have tried to reference the Turkish crescent with her ring dress? Just a random thought that struck me as I grappled to come to grips with this choice. It's so rare for the Queen to make a slip-up that I suppose it stands out all the more when she does.

Yikes was the first thing I said when I saw Letizia in this dress. I love the colour, sleeves and length, but I think this style with the cut-outs would be better suited for a private outing at a beach resort. I commend her for drawing attention to an independent Spanish brand, but I just wish she choose a different dress.

I don’t think a royal lady should wear a dress like this to a public event. Maybe a private party or the like but not to an occasion like this.

In Spain there is no problem with Letizia wearing this dress, I wonder why foreign people should point out what is properly or not in another country and their people. Spaniards do not use to judge how the Monarchy in other countries go, despite having our opinion .

I'm afraid that I don't think this dress is appropriate for a 'Red Cross' event. Looks 2015 & 18 were professional and timeless. For me, the worst thing about the dress is the 100% polyester fabric (confirmed by checking the website). With all respect to Cayro and the Queen, I find the design of the dress and full fuchsia inelegant and dated. 'Cut-it-out' is a big fashion trend for spring-summer 2022. If this is a trend Letizia wants to endorse, there are far better options available at all price ranges. Generally, I dislike Carolina Herrera logos, so the only item I would save from this ensemble is the gorgeous slingbacks - it's a relief to see a pair of shoes without the addition of rubber platforms.

I did just dare to wonder if Letizia might be underlining the awkward dress ring feature in both the earrings and the bag logo. It might be reasoning of a sort in this curious ensemble.

It is not a "curious ensemble', all webs in Spain carry these type of dresses and many people wear them.

Its wonderful that the Queen has highlighted this Spanish designer's work. If anyone can look good in a designed dress such as this, its Queen Letizia which she does, looking fabulous.
