Queen Letizia Style blog is back!!!!

Dear readers,

A week ago I made the tough decision to quit the Queen Letizia Style blog. In that time I have been flooded with supportive emails and comments, and I have been overwhelmed by the reaction. To be honest, I had no idea how much this blog meant to many of you.

I also received a few requests for contributors to keep the blog going, and today I am pleased to announce that Alessandra will be joining me to help continue the work!

Over the next couple of weeks, we will upload catch up posts, and hopefully by the start of the New Year we should have everything up-to-date!

Thanks to everybody for supporting this blog, and I hope you will continue to do so! Please subscribe to our mailing list (see below) so we can keep you updated when a new blog post is published :)

I'm just so happy that something so good can happen and the blog can go on. It's wonderful you have someone you know you can work with. I'd love to offer help but I think I'm on the other side if the planet and anyway I have poor health. The return of the blog is a lovely day of sunshine in a world constantly full of trouble. This is the best news!!! Thank you Elizabeth and Alessandra - as someone who uses Letizia for work-appropriate attire inspiration, I greatly appreciate the continuation of the blog!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am the same - I'm a normal working gal and find Letizia to be great style inspiration, particularly as she often wears skirt suits and pant suits without looking stuffy! I find Kate and Meghan to be totally unrelatable in their style.

Hi Joey,

The thing I like about Letizia, though, is that its not just skirt suits and pant suits - she wears other clothing besides suits (she's expanded since she was Princess of Asturias). My job does not really call for suits on a daily basis, so I really appreciate the different options Letizia provides. And, she really repeats her separates, just put together differently, which is a major bonus for me!

And I totally agree about Kate and Meghan. Even though Kate, Meghan, and I are all similar in age, I find Kate's clothing too formal and, yes, even a little too old and I just don't really find Meghan's clothing interesting (yet, I'm sure she will grow into her role). Plus, I am just not a big dress wearer, so Kate and Meghan are much harder to find inspiration in.

I am so glad to hear this!!! I am really new to this blog - I only discovered Letizia recently - but since then, I have been coming to this blog almost every day, and also have gone back to look at so many of the archived posts. I truly admire Letizia's style and think that it resembles the working woman's attire much more than Kate Middleton's. I am so glad to hear that Alessandra will be helping! I look forward to the return very much!!!!!!!!

Splendid news! I am so glad I thought to check back in case you had changed your mind. Elizabeth and Alessandra, you have truly brightened my November! Like many others I visit this blog daily and I have spent many a Saturday afternoon enjoying your catalogue of work. This is a Christmas present come early!! Thank you so much for reconsidering. Your blog clearly means so much to many people, myself included.

Some time ago I came across this instagram/blog, the owner Sara is very good at clothing id's. I thought that if you weren't already aware of it, it may be able to help you identify things quickly and save you precious time.

Tks for the instagram link. Very good acct of QL. I especially like the side by side comparisons of QL vs Meghan pics and the QL vs Kate pics.

You can really see the difference in those pics of their style.

I found it a nice blog too. I prefer this blog (probably because this is the one I found first AND it is in English), but, when it comes to Spanish (which I do not speak), I typically just copy and paste into Google Translate. It is passable, giving me an idea of what is being said, but has lots of mistakes too - better than having no idea though!

By the way, my favourite pics of QL from that Instagram is from Sept 11 where she has almost no make up on, wearing casual clothes of white pants and green jacket.

She glows and looks so happy with a natural look. And also the other Sept 11 pic of her in a blue car.

She looks totally different from her usual pics and so naturally beautiful. These pics show her beaming with a natural glow.

I've visited that blog too while Elizabeth was away but I noticed some occasional ID errors. Elizabeth is meticulous and never puts a foot wrong. I'm so glad QLS is back! It's the most reliable and comprehensive style blog on Queen Letizia bar none!

THE BEAUTY OF SOCIAL MEDIA!!!! to be able to share your thoughts with people you don't know personally --but can know their work--, as we could not in the past, is fascinating.

CONGRATS Elisabeth; maybe you had a "diamond in a rough" and did not realize...again you are SO RESPECTFUL and POLITE that never encouraged comments or criticism (like other blogs do) and therefore the feedback you received was scarce... But here you go; you just had to "close a door to open a window".

And THANKS Alessandra and all the other who offered help and contribution.

Also (because we all need to earn a living) I hope that you will come up with a way to making a profit and finding revenue from all the work you put into this. So let's aim that 1 year from now this will have been a wise decision.

I´m glad you got more help to do it (it does seem like a lot of work, I often wondered how you managed!), but also, if you ever feel overwhelmed again, perhaps you can, now and then, just put an entry consisting in a picture, no words beyond the mere identification of the event. Maybe some of us can help you fill in the gaps with the comment section, and you can leave the full entry for later, or eventually, you can just leave it like that. I think we all appreciate your sense of detail and reliable info (and truly admire it), but most of us will understand it if you cannot always do your best and just put up the picture occasionally. We are all very glad to have you back!

Felicidades! I also didn’t know how much this blog meant to me until faced with its end! I find Letizia to be an inspiration as a petite woman dressing for work. I too wear trousers most of the time and find Kate’s wardrobe too stuffy and Meghan’s wardrobe too expensive. I am so glad to be able to continue the journey with Letizia! Thank you
