Today, Her Majesty the Queen of Spain visited the Artillery Academy in the town of Segovia, located an hour drives north of Madrid.
She meet military personnel, and had an opportunity to tour the academy who's primary purpose is to offer training and development of artillery weapons.
Given the nature of the visit, it was to be expected that Queen Letizia would opt to wear one of her pant-suit ensembles. Today she recycled her red blazer and Mango floral blouse, paired with black straight-leg trousers.
Many bloggers have stated the blazer is also by Mango but that always seemed unlikely to me because I have never found a stock photo from their collection. The silhouette and tailoring of the jacket is reminiscent of Felipe Varela and the style is very similar to other 3-button blazers she has from the Spanish designer. Below is an example of jackets from Felipe Varela's current collection which show a similar silhouette to Letizia's red blazer. I suspect it is a bespoke piece.
Queen Letizia arrived at the academy wearing her red Hugo Boss 'Cegina' wool/cashmere coat (£850) and carrying her Uterque black croc stamped wristlet clutch.
On her feet were the Magrit black leather pointed-toe pumps. Letizia added a touch of playfulness to her outfit by wearing the charming Elena C mini butterfly earrings.
Tomorrow, Her Majesty will be in Barcelona to officiate the second School Uncommon Diseases Congress.

The Queen of Spain always looks radiant in red. But red and red from two different labels is just a overkill.
