Yay, a new post!! The Queen looks stylish, the pieces are chic but the presentation is relaxed while respectful of her position and the hospital visit. The slightly over-sized blazer enlivens the navy ensemble and coordinates with the polka dot blouse, the two shades of white are very alike and do not jar. I particularly like the little pleat detail on the trousers which fades into the front creases, they are a great length and the turns ups work well with the suede loafers. There are two different tones of navy here, the bag/shoes match and the trousers/blouse match, overall everything looks effortless and easy. I'm delighted to see a handbag! The Carolina Herrera Osaka is a great size for a handheld and a classic shape, navy and black are a sophisticated colour combination and the branding is discreet. I find handbags far more relatable and modern than clutches for business and casual wear. I've said this before but I would love to see Letizia invest in a Loewe handbag (she has several CH handbags). I know Loewe isn't in need of publicity but J W Anderson's contemporary classic designs would blend beautifully with her business wear wardrobe and be infinitely timeless.

A pleated front on trousers can be a difficult feature to wear, it can so easily bulk up and create an unflattering bulge, worst when sitting down. I know it's sometimes described as comfortable but I feel the comfort of pants likes more with the waistband. In this case the long jacket helps hide any tricks these pleats might be getting up to!

Letizia looks so very well put together. Navy and white is always classic. I like it when the shoes and purse match, although for some that is considered old fashioned. Letizia's blouse is lovely with the pleating detail at the neckline, along with the pleating on the pants. Flat shoes are a treat to see. I do wonder how so many royal women go about their duties teetering on sky high heels.

I was hoping we would get a glimpse of Letizia even though she is on vacation. She looks very relaxed and refreshed here as does the King. As for her outfit, I love the polka dot top which looks perfect with the navy pants but I feel the oversize jacket is too bulky and overwhelming on her slim physique. Even though the blazer is a bit boxy and shapeless the white colour was a good choice. I adore the CH 'Osaka' bag because of it's unique design and the way it flares or puffs out at the side in the contrasting black colour. I'm not used to seeing the Queen in such flat shoes. It's good to see that her feet are on a much needed vacation too

I know the blazer is supposed to be oversize but I agree with you that this one may be a little too overwhelming on Letizia's petite frame. The flat pumps emphasize the discrepancy and bring her close to a 1950s Teddy boy look -- not sure she would be looking for that!

Thanks Elizabeth, as always accurate about the brands or unidentified things, some blogs mix them up or identify by mistake.

Letizia nails monochrome chic for a hospital visit and models it beautifully in the side shot with her hand in her trouser pocket. The Herrera polka-dot blouse is just gorgeous and clearly a versatile item, just great here with the white of the jacket and the dark pants. Love the new slinky belt and the pleated front trousers look comfy. The CH Osaka tote manages to combine elegance with practicality, clearly having plenty of room for any extras to take for the patient.

Also, notice how the King and Queen are wearing matching loafers! Adorable and quite probably unintentional.
