The Spanish royal family enjoyed a night out in Palma de Mallorca on Saturday evening. King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia were joined by Queen Sofia and Princess Irene of Greece for dinner at the Ola de Mar restaurant.

I had never heard of the term 'plumetis' before so I had to look it up in the dictionary. For those of you might not know here is the meaning.

"a fine lightweight dress fabric of cotton, wool or rayon that is woven with raised dots or figures on a plain background producing a feathery or embroidered effect".

I must say I think this dress is gorgeous and I love the plumetis as it is a very unique and interesting fabric. I've probably seen this fabric before but I didn't know the exact term. I'm so happy to learn new concepts and ideas from this blog.

This is a lovely item from Uterqüe, it's sexy, but not overly so. The black helps temper the many details, and as a result, the dress looks sultry rather than fussy. Castañer espadrilles work perfectly, however, I would have preferred a delicate pair of flat black strappy sandals to echo the sheerness of the skirt from the knees down. I dislike branding, so the clutch doesn't appeal to me, plus, the nylon and double zips don't compliment the romantic plumetis fabric. If I were wish listing, I would complete the ensemble with a pair of fabulous rhinestone drop earrings (costume jewellery), which would look wonderful against the bare shoulders, bringing further glamour to the look.

This is a beautiful casual, dress. The unusual fabric, has such appeal, it is so different, the black in colour looks lovely. The length of the dress is perfect. I quite like the black wedge shoes, they work in well.
