I love the dress. It' looks cool & comfortable and the wraparound style is great for summer. The light blue colour and linen fabric also make it a good choice for warm weather. I would love to see this attractive family without masks for a change. Why is it necessary if they are a family unit outside with both the King and Queen vaccinated? Is this a requirement in Spain?

They are sorrounded by journalits and people, and the government of the Balearic Islands, not alone, even if you can only see that on the photos. Vaccinated people still can catch the disease and spread it, and a quarentine would be necesary, masks are not mandatory outdoors but everyone can choose. By the way, Princess Leonor has been vaccinated too as she is 15 and travels to Wales in a week to start her studies.

The journalists are at least 6 feet away. What vaccine are they getting in Spain? Pfizer? Moderna? Johnson and Johnson? or some other kind? Just curious.

They speak with the journalists before and after photos, they are visiting the Serra de Tramontana, walking and visiting people, not quite for a photo, It is a visit not a photocall. you forgot that Letizia is a journalist, and as I said Francine Armengol , the President of the Balearic Islands and the rest of the Balearic government were there, (Spain works as a Federation ) and there are many restictions set by her, none of them has got the disease, so someting well they are doing, in Spain people are very fond of the masks. Most people wear them even with the family as you are out and about and not always with them.

Letizia looks comfy and summery in her new Adolfo Dominguez, though I find the asymmetric hem a bit heavy looking worn with flats. The dress colour suits her well and that Ikat tote is an item of envy for me. It's revealing to see how tall both daughters are now, especially with their mother in flats, when they both top her in height. Infanta Sofia is showcasing a pair of super-long legs in her mini Zara playsuit.

I looked up their height on the internet. I don't know how accurate the internet is , but it said Sofia is 6 foot (that seems a couple inches high to me), Leonore is 5 foot 5 inches, Letizia is 5 foot 8 inches, and Felipe is 6 foot 6 inches.

I really like the royal summer pictures, they always do casual summer outfits well! I really like Leti's dress, it looks cool and stylish. I also like both girls' outfits. They're into the espadrilles like Mama!

Everybody wears "espadrilles" what we call alpargatas in Spain in summer, there are thousands of styles, they are handmade.

They're lovely, Simone, I wish we could get as much variety here in the UK. I'd wear them all summer!

Maybe online? There are brands as Castañer that deliver to many countries.

This is a lovely casual dress, adore the colour. I don't like asymmetric hems and this is no different with this, regardless the Queen looks great. The girls look fabulous in their casual wear.

Despite my dislike for asymmetric hemlines (the Queen obviously likes them), this is a lovely powder blue dress in breathable linen. The wrap style and paneled skirt are feminine details that complement Letizia's figure. Minor quibbles, the sleeves would have looked neater if the cuffs were fastened and I would have preferred a pair of mid-heeled tan sandals to help balance the fullness of the skirt. Understandably, the cuffs were worn undone for ease during the heat and the flat espadrilles were a practical choice for an evening walk around.
