I still love this Hugo Boss sheath to absolute bits. I'm a sucker for understated monochrome checks of various kinds, they are such a go-to choice for me, the one I can happily wear even on an uninspired day. The cut and fit of the dress alone would be enough, but the HG riff on asymmetry in the front panel takes it to another level. It might be a safe choice colourwise, but here predictability is set aside for a discreet but perfectly judged fashion edge.

That' s a fine Boss jacket but a bit on the heavy side. A dark charcoal or navy might soften it, and the grey dress is the perfect foil for brighter colours, red, yellow, or green, on a lighter occasion.
Love the favourite Herrera slingbacks and their slightly vampy flash of red sole. Perfect.

I love the idea of a blazer transforming the look of this dress from it's last appearance, it's a very professional ensemble for Geneva. I think this particular blazer is oversized and weighs the look down, the length is a little long and the fit is just slightly off on the shoulders. Letizia's tailoring is usually impeccable so maybe it's accentuated where the jacket is worn open and is a loose fit style. I wonder if a tailored short length jacket with a round neck may have worked - worn open due to the waist belt. The Carolina Herrera sling backs are gorgeous but have been worn so often recently that a different pair of court shoes would have been a welcome change. I would also have preferred a tote handbag to carry her paperwork rather than the clutch. The Chanel plume earrings work beautifully, the white gold is very complementary against the plaid dress. Hair and makeup are lovely as usual.

I loved the dress when Letizia first wore it on it's own earlier this year. And I love it even more with the black blazer and black shoes.
I think a good quality blazer in a neutral tone is a must have for every woman. It's the best was to dress up an outfit and it make everything you wear including jeans look smart and polished. I think a single button, single breasted blazer is the most versatile like the Hugo Boss one worn here. You can literally wear it with anything and make any outfit look regal.

I really like Letizia in these sharp business-like outfits. I think that is actually her personal style. I don't thing that flowy, flowerly dresses are a good fit for her, although I do understand how they are suitable for her position and how she has to switch things up.
