The Queen of Spain held a working meeting with the Fundación del Español Urgente FundéuRAE (Foundation of Emerging Spanish) board of trustees, at the Royal Spanish Academy, Madrid.
The FundéuRAE is a non-profit organisation founded in February 2005, the result of an agreement between the EFE Agency and the BBVA bank, with the advice of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE), whose main objective is to promote the good use of Spanish in the media. Its team of journalists, linguists, lexicographers, orthotypegraphers, proofreaders and translators offer recommendations and answers daily queries, to aid those who use the language in their work.
During the meeting, Her Majesty was informed of the objectives of FundéuRAE, which since last September has been integrated with the RAE and the EFE Agency. In addition, they also discussed its relaunch, which seeks to enhance its founding purposes and continue working to offer advice on the proper use of Spanish to the media.

When I first saw this pantsuit I was blown away by the design and construction of the blazer. The fan-like detail on the front is so original and amazing. It's great to see it once again.

I just love this pantsuit. The fit and tailoring is perfect, the blazer is intriguing, because its so unusual. The NR swing coat is a asset in any wardrobe, and looks great here. Love the shoes.

A very snappy outfit despite being more greys from Letizia, the asymmetric Hugo Boss jacket and crop pants are superb and chic, and look very well with the shape of the Nina Ricci swing jacket. The bracelet sleeves add another edgy touch of class.

The pantsuit looks very professional and queenly, but I would like a pop of color somewhere. I don't like a coat with three-quarter sleeves worn with a long sleeved top.

I agree, Daria, that a pop of colour would be nice. This is a very sombre look. Letizia and indeed Spanish women in general, don't often wear scarves. However, a colourful scarf would have brightened this outfit. Or it could be worn as is, with red shoes and/or a red clutch.

Yes, a red clutch or shoes would have been perfect!

I adore all of the pieces of this ensemble, but not together. I find the dark grey on dark grey heavy. A full grey outfit can look luxurious if styled in complementary tones. The two variations of 'slate grey' blur the trouser suit and swing coat into one. As a result, I lost sight of the stunning asymmetrical line of the jacket, nipped-in waist and pleated shoulders of the coat. I appreciate that the relaxed cut of the coat allowed the suit to sit comfortably underneath. However, the Queen most likely wore the coat briefly, between car and building. I would have preferred a sumptuous camel coat worn over her shoulders, (perhaps the Varela worn here 9/10/2018) which would have softly lifted the block grey. If it was cold in Madrid on Friday a fitted cream/or white turtle neck may have looked chic under the jacket. The Magrit pumps are gorgeous, they provide muted elegance and help lengthen the look.

Jennifer, That scarf was a great addition. Visually the colours in the scarf gave the severe grey a lift.
