This is a sharp suit which is inspired by traditional menswear. From what I’ve seen, the exaggerated shoulders fit well, but the trousers could be shorter. In other photos from the event, you could see that the fabric had gathered in the legs. Overall, the suit would have looked lighter if the Queen had worn the blazer open. This would have allowed the waistline of the trousers to be seen balancing the proportions. Letizia often styles a suit with a white silk blouse and gathered neckline. I appreciate that this style of blouse adds a feminine quality to the strong lines. However, a crisp cotton shirt in sky blue would have been less fussy and lifted the sombre navy.

Ver nice,
professional look. And I like that she's wearing pumps with this outfit. I've always been a fan of the timeless leather pump. Hard to go wrong with that.

While I like this HB version of a pinstripe pantsuit, I think the blazer is too big for Letizia. The length overwhelms her small (not short) frame and the sleeves are too long. I do love the pleating on the inner white top and the slim pants.

If I wasn't a fan of this HB jacket on its initial outing, then I am now, with the new pants it looks terrific. The wide spaced pinstripe is nicely toned down from a city uniform and has an off-beat vibe where the rigid lines are broken by folds in the fabric.

The slim-leg pants are heaven, tailored to fall beautifully, and look great with her Magrit pumps. The serviceable HB pleated neck top gives good service once again and the understated Herrera clutch is perfect. Lovely to see chic Letizia on form.

This is a smart suit, I particularly like the jacket, the cut and fit is perfect. The navy leather pumps look fabulous.
