Clara Campoamor Rodríguez 1888 -1972 was a Spanish politician and feminist who is best known for her advocacy for women's rights and suffrage during the writing of the Spanish Constitution of 1931. Campoamor's advocacy led to the inclusion of constitutional language that sought to guarantee equality between men and women.

The Congress begins celebrations of the 90th anniversary of the approval of the female vote in Spain with a tribute to Clara Campoamor. Campoamor's desk and some personal belongings, donated to Congress, have been moved to the room of the Palace that bears her name.

After the initial greetings, Her Majesty saw a bust of Clara Campoamor, her desk, documents and personal items from her office. Later in the 'Salón de los Pasos Perdidos' (Hall of Lost Steps) successive interventions took place by the First Vice President of the Government and the Presidents of the Senate and Congress who highlighted the importance of paying tribute to Clara Campoamor.

Delighted to see this divine Roberto Torretta pantsuit again, I have no problems with how many times it is repeated. It's a wonderful combination of feminine panache in its wide lapels and generous slit-flared pants, with added business vibe through the suiting detail of fitted waistcoat built into the jacket, along with pocket flaps. In bold Spanish red it is just perfect for championing the work of a great campaigner. I'm equally happy to see the trusty snakeskin Herrera clutch return, and the sweetheart front pumps, they are very much all of a piece.

This is a beautiful pantsuit, tailored to perfection, its a superb fit. Glorious red colour that the Queen wears marvellously.
Loved this pantsuit the very first time the Queen wore it. It's so authentic with the jacket imitating a vest, the fabric is divine. The pants are impeccable, love the side split at the ankle length. The shoes and clutch bag the perfect finishing touch.
