They will undertake their tenth State Visit, which aims to emphasise historical ties and strengthen bilateral relations. This is a historic trip as it's the first time a Spanish monarch will visit Cuba officially.

Sensational, the Uterque houndstooth is an absolute winner, and great value as well. Letizia pulls off a wide jacket style with ease, keeping everything else neat from the plain turtleneck to the sharp Hugo Boss narrow crops.

It amazes me how well she can carry such a boxy jacket, the proportions have been beautifully managed so as not to dwarf her. Interesting that her new Magrit clutch is quite a generous size and complements the bold jacket, while the spiky Prada heels keep things streamlined elsewhere.

Good to have matching black accessories with this, and the lovely diamond studs are spot on for this outfit.

This is a beautiful blazer, the fit and length are spot on. Pants are a perfect fit, love the length. Shoes and handbag great choice. The diamond stud earrings, subtle touch. The Queen looks effortlessly elegant.

I'm not of a fan of that old fashion jacket style. It is huge, and this type of clothes was worn in 90's. But I like everything else, it is simple and elegant outfit.

I do not think thst this type of clothes are from the 90s, if not Chanel inspirations. The jacket has s matching skirt.

I saw the skirt. I wonder if Letizia bought both pieces. I would love to see her in the whole ensemble.

Sandy, I'm afraid the skirt is bit too short, perhaps bespoke, longer??

I sometimes wonder if my comments sound to negative. But I think we all fallow QL because we think she is a very stylish woman and her clothing is never boring...our commenting is just an opinion what we think could be better. Q L is either dressed perfect or very good but with some changes could be better. 😊

I wonder the same thing, Edita. I feel I might be a bit too critical sometimes and how would I feel if I was in Letizia's shoes. But, like you said we admire her and want her to look her best. Everyone has room for improvement.

We want your honest opinion. If you don't like something, it's ok to say it. We can't like 100% of her pieces that she wears. We all have different opinions.

I like voicing my opinions on here, MM, and KM blogs. I also enjoy reading others' thoughts even if they were opposite to my view on a particular piece. It's good to read all different views though it's different from our own and we can respect each other for voicing them.

It's not a bad thing. Free speech is a beautiful thing. Free speech to express our thoughts. Rather than sugar coating and saying you love everything which would be disingenuous. We want real thoughts. :) It's all good.

I hope I'm understood. We all love QL or we wouldn't be here. And, more importantly, we all love reading everyone's thoughts even though they express different opinions. It's what makes us human. Respecting the difference.

Thanks for your thoughts Karen. I can see you are very passionate about this subject. And I agree about free speech. It would be boring if we all like everything all the time.

You're welcome Sandy. : ) Yes. Thank you. Glad you agree. Yes, it would be boring wouldn't it. Very true.

I love the blazer. The houndstooth print is very unusual with the full black and faded grey tooths or teeth spaced alongside each other. This is an outfit I could wear to work. The fact that the blazer is oversize helps it do double duty as a coat in colder weather.

Queen Letizia looks stylish, this is a striking and refined ensemble. Generally, I am not a fan of trendy jackets, but this blazer has been executed well, taking elements from traditional menswear. Tailoring is strong and the double-breasted style tapers in at the waist, creating a feminine silhouette which is enhanced further with the slim-fit trousers and sleek accessories. The houndstooth meets nicely across seam lines and pocket flaps. From afar, the jewelled buttons look interesting, rather than gaudy. Clean, monochrome separates were the perfect backdrop to the Uterque piece, allowing it to take center stage while the classic pieces quietly support around it. The Queen's heavy side parting and glossy hair add further polish to the great look!
