Queen Letizia wows in green during Salamanca visit

On Tuesday, Queen Letizia travelled to Salamanca in north-western Spain to attend a series of events.

She first visited the International Spanish Center, where she saw the presentation of the 'City of Spanish' project. Later, she toured an exhibition showcasing the legacy of Carmen Martín Gaite.

Following this, Her Majesty attended the proclamation ceremony for the 'Art 2024' Prize awarded by the Princess of Girona Foundation, marking the second stage of the 'Talent Tour'.

I like this dress. The colour is very pretty and the style is most feminine. I don't care for the shoes or the purse with this outfit, but the earrings are beautiful. I like the coat on the model, but Letizia is wearing hers open, with belt hanging and it looks so long and baggy.

I'm not a fan of this dress, the roomy bodice with its raglan sleeves, gathered cuffs and raised waistband seems to reek of the 1970s, not my favourite fashion period. The keyhole neckline seems to add to an overall droopy effect. The bold Dandara green, however, is very good on Letizia, and it seems well matched by the Herrera camel coat, a surprising but effective combination.

The new matching Uterque cross body bag is delightful, and with finishing touch of the lovely Gold & Roses Jardin de Aire earrings, Letizia continues to achieve a professional and regal look,

Camel is becoming a more popular neutral colour which pairs well with green, red, black, navy etc etc. It's a refreshing change from basic black.

I agree it's refreshing, I just hadn't seen it with quite this shade of green before. I've seen plenty of attempts to wear it with red which I find less successful. Kudos to Letizia for keeping ahead of the curve!

I don't mind this dress, its pretty and feminine, but there is something about the bodice I don't like. The gathering to the waist, maybe? not quite sure. The coat is lovely, but I don't like how it is worn. The earrings are beautiful.
