Queen Letizia held a couple audience hearings at Zarzuela Palace today. She first recived the winners of the "National Fashion Awards", a distinction that aims to support the creation and development of the fashion sector in Spain.
This was followed with a hearing with board members of "Project" Hombre" - an association which provides solutions in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of people with drug dependency.
Queen Letizia made a bold fashion statement with her choice of outfit, opting to re-wear her Uterque high-waisted leather culottes. She debuted the wide-leg crop trousers at this year's ARCO Art Fair, where she paired it with a bright pink jacket and accessories.
Today, Queen Letizia toned down the styling and opted for a businesslike ensemble. She teamed the culottes with a fitted red blazer by Felipe Varela and a new monochromatic blouse from Zara.
The geo-printed blouse has a classic boatneck and long sleeves. It retails for US$49.90.
On her feet were a bespoke version of the Magrit 'Mila' black suede pumps which she had modified with a black sole.
Letizia added a feminine touch to the contemporary ensemble with a pair of Carolina Herrera 'Falling Jasmine' stud earrings.
