Following yesterday's hospital visit, King Felipe and Queen Letizia returned today to check in on King Juan Carlos as he recovers from knee surgery. They were again joined by Felipe's mother Queen Sofia, and today their daughters also accompanied them.

The young princesses emulated their mother's style from yesterday and sported matching Burberry trench coats. Today Queen Letizia looked chic in a striped top and bootcut jeans with a peacoat over the top.

The navy wool coat is by Italian label Fay.

Underneath the coat Letizia wore a navy/white striped sweater from Adolfo Dominguez (€94). Knitted from a soft wool blend, this sweater features a crew neckline, ranglan long sleeves,  and rib-knit accents along the hem and cuffs.

She coordinated the outfit with a new pair of stretch navy leather boots from Massimo Dutti (sold out) and her navy Carolina Herrera 'Osaka' bag from the designer's Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

Interesting! Do you have a stock photo or product link of the style you are referring too?

The magazine says that they haven't found the definite design, however these jeans are very similar to others on the Massimo Dutti's web

Nice to see Letizia in jeans! It's been a long time since we last saw her wearing them. I love the classic coat that looks casual and classy at the same time.

Letizia looks well except for the boots. I can't imagine Mary Poppins wearing those, let alone a Queen. But... it is what it is. The bag is AMAZING!!!

I own those boots and they are very comfortable it's a design on trend two years ago in Spain. They must have been in her wardrobe since then.

I'm sorry if I offended you. It's just my personal taste. I'm no fashion expert and certainly I myself own shoes that many people don't like. 😙😙😙

So glad we got the jacket ID -- it's a snappy piece and just great on Letizia. I love the Breton stripes and jeans too, a perfect casual/smart look. And I love the boots to pieces, they look a lot better than the flat lace-ups she tried wearing last time. Those toe-caps have a faint hint of something wicked about them and with the contrast on the inside heel they are a big hit with me. Love that bag too.
