I'm surprised by the outfit that Sofia wore to her Confirmation. There is no denying that she looked beautiful but in many parts of the world her shocking pink jumpsuit, with a cutout showing skin, would be considered very appropriate for church. By chance my own granddaughter was confirmed two days ago. Each girl was given an instruction sheet by the priest saying what she could or could not wear. The girls had to wear a dress, not pants. The skirt had to touch at least their knees, it could be longer but not shorter. Sleeves had to extend so many inches beyond the shoulder. Necklines were to be a certain height. Colours had to be soft...no black, no red, no bling, feathers, fringe, no cut outs. I am just so very surprised that in Spain, dressing for church and especially being Confirmed, that the dress code is so liberal. Letizia is also very casually dressed. I would have thought church "rules" would be similar regardless of the country.

Leonor's espadrilles are not these ones?

I’m probably way too old-fashioned, but I was surprised that Infanta Sofía wore an outfit with a cut-out showing her torso (just a bit). This lovely young lady is more fashion-forward than I am, I guess!

I like seeing the repeat Boss Ibiaska blouse on Letizia, I find the treatment of the flap sleeves attractive, and I think the colour goes well enough with white trousers. Where I can't support the style is in the wide-leg cut off pants which I feel suit virtually non one, though I'm sure they're very comfortable. The new diamond and drop earrings are feminine and gorgeous.

I find Sofia's outfit to be the star of show. It manages to be striking, colourful, and tasteful, the crossover front on the Cayro jumpsuit is very distinctive. I think it looks very well with the attractive flats.

Leonor's Polin et Moi dress is equally colourful, but more conventional, though with a pretty print. I like the neat Zara clutch and contrast blue espadrilles

I love this HB pink blouse, the flap sleeves are unusual, love the color. The pants look nice on the Queen, but a bit wide for my tastes.
