The Spanish royal family made a surprise appearance in Madrid on Saturday to attend the procession of Our Lady of Solitude and Forsakenness and the Passage of the Most Holy Recumbent Christ on Holy Saturday, as part of the Holy Week celebrations in the Spanish capital.

Princess Leonor wore a navy striped Sézane 'Trudy' Jumper, and Infanta Sofia sported a Zara Soft Bomber Jacket in Ecru.

Impressive to see the royal family mingling with the crowds at such a major public event. The new Nina Ricci coat looks gorgeous, neat and cosy, and a lovely cut. Quite something to have a new bag as well, the roomy Massimo Dutti is in keeping with Letizia's casual style. Leonor's Sezanne top looks cosy and chic as well, and Sofia rocks her blouson jacket.

The Nina Ricci jacket looks warm as well as stylish. The hidden zipper gives it a nice, clean look and the big pockets come in handy while still looking sleek. Unfortunately the pictures don't give us a good look at Letizia wearing it. Maybe some other time.
