The Spanish royal family is on their annual summer holidays in Palma, and on Monday, they chose the historic complex of Jardines de Alfàbia as the backdrop for their first family photo opportunity while on vacation on the island of Mallorca.

Their Majesties, accompanied by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, toured the historic complex consisting of a house, gardens, and an orchard. In 2011, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in the category of Cultural Landscape.

The entire family looks cool, comfortable and stylish. I especially like Sofia's dress which has a bohemian vibe with that psychedelic print. Leonor's green linen dress has a unique design with the winged sleeves and the fuschia colour of Letizia's is very vibrant. I hope the royal family has a wonderful vacation this year.

What a wonderful relaxed set of photos, the first family looks tremendously well on their annual Mallorca break. Letiza looks terrific in the vivid Adolfo Dominguez pink and Eleanor looks to have a safe comfortable choice from Mango.

Sofia's bright bohemian print is the stand- out for me, comfortable, classic, and original in colour and pattern, a modern take on some old Moorish themes perhaps. I like how she has picked out the dark tones with the black toes of her espadrilles. I wish it were possible for her to grow out of wearing that heavy centre part in her hair, I don't feel it does her many favours, but she's young yet. I'm loving the neat huarache-style flat espadrilles Letizia is wearing, just perfect in the heat.

The Queen looks cool and comfortable in her hot pink dress. The dress is perfect for the summer months. Her shoes and bag work in well together.
