Spanish royal ladies enjoy a girls day out at the market

The Spanish royal ladies were spotted ambling through Olivar food market in Palma de Mallorca on Tuesday.

Queen Letizia was accompanied by her two daughters Leonor and Sofia, and her mother-in-law Queen Sofia for a day out in the capital of the Balearic Islands.

It's nice to see the Bourbon ladies all getting along and enjoying one another's company. It looks genuine in my opinion. I love Letizia's knit top because the graduation of the pink colour (light to dark) is one of my favorite fashion designs. It's brings an amazing visual effect to any top. I also like the shoes they look comfortable and perfect for summer.

What a fun summer holiday outfit for Letizia, I've never seen her in shorts before. Shorts can be the most dangerous and unflattering of garments as a walk down the average summer high street can testify. But Letizia's figure stands her in good stead and she has them long enough in the leg to look dignified but not flapping low around her knees.

Taken in the isolation of the studio shot I don't much like the top, but it's so pretty here in that fabulous Mediterranean sun I think it looks great on Letizia. Straw accessories are spot on and the cork mules are a fun styling twist with front straps only.

Shorts are indeed dangerous territory, but she pulls it off. What was notable is that the dress she wore last year was the same length and some writers were scandalized ...even though this was not its first showing. Now the shorts show the same amount of leg and the same writers are full of praise.

It's great to see the whole family looking so well and happy. The girls are always dressed just right - it's tricky to pull off for children who aren't little any more.
