This evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia arrived at the Benito Juarez International Airport to begin a 3-day State visit of Mexico, their first as reigning monarchs.
Upon disembarking from the Spanish Airforce plane, Their Majesties were greeted by Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Jose Antonio Meade and his wife Johana Chapas.
Despite the long-haul flight, Queen Letizia emerged looking refreshed and glamourous in a Hugo Boss frock. She premiered the BOSS 'Fanuela' knit dress, featuring a modern striped design and made from a viscose/cotton blend. The sleeveless fit-and-flare dress retailed for £220 but is currently on sale for £159.
She carried her MBUBAG 'Arts' Ostrich Leather clutch which she debuted earlier this month while on a State visit to France.
On her feet were a "new" pair of Adolfo Dominguez suede high heel shoes. These taupe suede sandals are from the Spanish designer's 2011 collection but this is the first occasion Letizia has worn them publicly. The platform heels have a ribbed suede pattern and lace closure around the back ankle.
Completing the ensemble were the TOUS moonstone earrings.
