This photo of the sole shows they are not by Magrit. They appear to be a high-street style. They could be the Steve Madden 'Dominique' boots (US$99.95) which appear to have a similar sole.
Casa Real released a photo today to mark the 80th birthday of Queen Sofia. The Spanish royal family gathered for lunch at the Palace of Zarzuela to celebrate the occasion.
Queen Letizia wore her tweed Carolina Herrera Peter Pan collar dress winch she debuted in April 2016 and then wore again on a couple of occasions in that same year.
Today she teamed it with a new pair of black suede boots. They were initially thought to be the Magrit 'Francesca' elastic suede over-the-knee boots (US$672) - a style she also owns in red.
ID UPDATE (FEB 2019):
This photo of the sole shows they are not by Magrit. They appear to be a high-street style. They could be the Steve Madden 'Dominique' boots (US$99.95) which appear to have a similar sole.
We believe she wore her Gold & Roses 'Skyline' crawler earrings.

The dress is nice but looked a lot better when paired with the nude shoes. Those terrible boots just don't work with it at all. There is a disconnect between short sleeves and boots.

I actually thought that she was wearing black tights and black shoes. I didn't even notice these are the boots, until now, and yes, I agree with you.

Yes, they do look like black tights from far away. But either way it was a poor choice.
