The King and Queen of Spain were given a farewell with Honors on Sunday as they departed from Madrid-Barajas Airport for a four-day State Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.

There is nothing that I like about this outfit. Both the suit and the shoes are very masculine looking and the jacket seems to be too big. I'm sure it was comfortable on the plane, but another pantsuit and flat shoes would have been comfortable also.

I like this outfit, perfect for travel. Something a little different. I particularly like the pants. The shoes are a clever touch.

I really admire Letizia’s very businesslike look for her German tour departure. The Hugo Boss pinstripe is brilliantly tailored so that Letizia can carry off such a long jacket against the beautifully tapered trousers, which prevent her drowning in fabric. The scoop neck layering top helps bring extra breathing space.

I really love the chunky Uterque Oxford Brogues, a perfect example of comfort meeting fashion chic with just a touch of fun and daring. Not an easy look to carry off and Letizia handles it like a pro. She appears to be welded to those new Gold & Roses triple hoops and I don't mind at all, they are proving their versatility.
