Queen Letizia joined her King Felipe VI today for a visit to the headquarters of the Spanish Episcopal Conference (SEC) on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
This is the first royal visit to the Plenary Assembly in 15 years with the last visit performed by King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia in 2001.
Established in 1966, the SEC is an administrative institution and composed of all the bishops of the dioceses of Spain.
The Spanish queen showcased a modest style for the ceremony in Madrid, wearing her signature black Hugo Boss trousers and a new bouclé top.
The fitted top is made from a mix of fuchsia pink and autumnal colored yarns. It features long sleeves, a round neckline and peplum waist. The brand remains unknown.
Letizia is very fond of bouclé fabric and owns countless jackets made from the looped yarn. Here's just a small example from some her favorite designers and brands.
Letizia coordinated the outfit with her Mbubag 'Arts' ostrich clutch and simple black leather stiletto heels from Magrit.
She offset the conservative ensemble with her interchangeable earrings from Spanish jeweler Coolook. She wore the brand's smoky quartz 'Big Candy' stud earrings paired with the 'Hera' pendants.
