Queen Letizia attended a meeting today with the Government Delegation for Gender Violence.
She arrived at the governmental headquarters in Madrid wearing her HUGO 'Mathia' cheetah-print coat (£369.99), which she debuted earlier this month in Mérida. The style is currently available at Zolando (UK) where it has been reduced to £221.99.
Under the coat Letizia sported an edgy ensemble she first wore in 2016 at the "Francisco Cerecedo" Journalism Award ceremony (shown on right).
The outfit consists of a black Utrerque leather peplum top embellished with metal studs, and a coordinating black studded clutch bag also by the Spanish label.
Letizia offset the rocker-chic style with convectional black straight-leg trousers and her Hugo Boss 'Staple R100-C' Black Crocodile-Embossed Pumps.
She finished the look with her elegant Chanel Comète Earrings.

Leather is usually used to make jackets, skirts and pants. This top is unusual but I do like it on Letizia. She wore it the same way on the previous occasion. She might try it with a skirt one day for a different look.

Thank you for the blog, Elizabeth, a welcome return! It's a favourite of mine! I like the way Letizia dresses, she always looks poised and professional and reworks looks.

I love the coat and think is looks a lot better than it did when she wore it with the white blazer. I didn't like seeing the sleeves of the blazer under the coat. It looks much better worn with something that has shorter sleeves.
