The King and Queen of Spain attended the annual board meeting of the Princess of Asturias Foundation at the El Pardo Palace. The Foundation offers a series of annual prizes (previously called the Prince of Asturias awards) to individuals, entities or companies from around the world who make notable achievements in the sciences, humanities, and public affairs.
The Foundation was established in 1980 by the then twelve-year-old Felipe, Prince of Asturias. The awards are presented in Oviedo, the capital of the Principality of Asturias. Since the accession of Felipe VI as King of Spain in June last year, it was announced that, beginning in 2015, the foundation and the awards are to be renamed as the Princess of Asturias Foundation in accordance with the new heir to the Spanish throne, Leonor, Princess of Asturias.
For the meeting, Letizia recycled a striking snake print pencil skirt from Uterque.
With the exception of the blouse and earrings, Letizia's outfit originates from 2012 and it's an ensemble she has repeated on many occasions:
Like in the past, Letizia accessorized with her Adolfo DomÃnguez light tan pleated clutch bag and Magrit taupe suede pumps.
Today, Letizia premiered a pretty white collarless blouse. She has so many variations of this style it's hard to keep track! The blouse is reportedly by Hugo Boss but I have been unable to locate it in their inventory. Finishing the look, where the TOUS cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings.
