USA Royal Visit Day 2 - King and Queen of Spain get the keys to the City of New Orleans

The King and Queen of Spain commenced their first full day in the USA today following their arrival into New Orleans last night. For their first joint engagement, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were officially welcomed to the City of New Orleans with a ceremony at Gallier Hall.

Their Majesties were handed the keys to the City and their visit was honoured with a Commemorative Plaque.

WHAT LETIZIA WORE

DRESS: NEW! Carolina Herrera fuchsia pink fit-and-flare dress (bespoke).

BAG: NEW! Magrit pink suede clutch bag (bespoke).

SHOES: NEW! Magrit pink suede pumps (bespoke).

EARRINGS: TOUS Ruby and Emerald earrings. Debuted June 2015.

There are very limited photos from this event hence I'm unable to find better images of Letizia's accessories. I will update the post if high-resolution images become available.

Another gorgeous dress even though a bit like the last one at first glance. The difference in colour from red to pink may not be showing well in photos. The fit of the bodice is sublime and I love the tiny buttons. Once again Letizia can carry off a full skirt with her wonderful figure. The shoes are fun and those colourful earrings just perfect.

The buttons on the dress look very much like FV. Cut, fabric and color more Carolina Herrera. CH has worn a dress at the MET Gala in May with quite a similar fabric and color. A CH inspiration? I never have seen these buttons in a CH collection.

It turns out it is a bespoke creation by CH! I had a hunch it was and I swear I looked through about 1000 CH dresses to try find it LOL. I did find many dresses that had this silhouette just not the buttons.

Another beautiful summer dress. Again very simple and elegant.
The colour is very unusual and hard to define. But I love that it is so vibrant. Lately Letizia has worn a lot of black and white so this bright shade is a nice change.

What a beautiful unique dress. Love the colour and the buttons details. Perfectly styled with the shoes, purse and those 2 colour earrings! Perfection!
