USA Royal Visit Day 4: King & Queen of Spain attend gala dinner in San Antonio

On Sunday evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were guests of honor at a gala dinner hosted by the City of San Antonio.

Here's a peek at the dinner arrangements inside the Pearl Stable reception centre.

WHAT LETIZIA WORE

DRESS: NEW! Carolina Herrera Sleeveless Floral Lace Tiered Dress (ID by @HeavenQRF via Twitter). The gown features sheer panels on the front and back, with a round neckline, sleeveless silhouette, and a tiered floral embroidered lace skirt. From the designer's Fall/Winter 2017 collection. The front panel was modified with full coverage on Letizia's dress.

Sorry to say but the dress looks much better on the model. Again, the dress was shortened at the waistline for Letizia, loosing completely it's allure. And those shoes ruin the nicest dress.

This is just stunning, only Letizia knows how to do rock-&-roll while still going monochrome! Such a beautiful dark bodice, slinky sheer and dark panels to the front and an open long slit at the back, setting off those sweet skirt layers which work so well in a graceful light fabric. Love how the dark embroidery works on the pale background, it's the kind of thing that could look like boho-grunge but done like this it's sweetness and light and definitely regal. Love the shoes and the fabulous sparkly bracelet.

This dress is gorgeous! Very nice! However, it is a bit too short on Letizia, few cm more in lenght would be more elegant...

I'm afraid I missed this dress from a few days ago. There have been so many new outfits it's hard to keep up. I think the whole outfit is too busy, too much going on. Too many panels and lines in the top and too many tiers on the bottom. The shoes are nice for evening wear. Simplicity is the key to dressing well IMHO.
