Queen Letizia steps out in Massimo Dutti Leather Dress for 'Picasso Year' inauguration

The King and Queen of Spain, in their roles as honorary presidents of the National Commission for the Commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso, presided over the inauguration of the 'Picasso Year' at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid.

During the Picasso Year, Spain and France will develop a joint program that will feature more than forty exhibition projects, two academic congresses and events to be held mainly in Europe and North America to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of the Malaga painter.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia visited the UK Embassy in Madrid this afternoon to sign the book of condolences on the occasion of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Queen Letizia traveled to the Canary Islands on Friday to mark the opening of the 2022/2023 school year at the Princesa Acerina school in Los Llanos de Aridane, La Palma.

The education center brings together students from several schools in the town of Puerto Naos whose schools had to close following last year's volcanic eruption.

Following the school visit, Her Majesty visited one of the areas affected by the volcanic eruption, where she had the opportunity to observe the recovery works.

Queen Letizia attended the "Tour Del Cancer" (The Cancer Tour) conference at CaixaForum in Lleida on Tuesday.

"Tour Del Cancer" is a conference hosted by Dr. Carlos López-Otín, which travels through various parts of Spain with the aim of increasing the visibility and knowledge of the disease to society, in addition to transferring the free services offered by the Spanish Association Against Cancer to cancer patients and their families.
