The immersive exhibition commemorates the 100th anniversary since the passing of the Spanish painter, and will combine for the first time Joaquín Sorolla’s artistic creations with digital recreations and sensory experiences through light, colour, and movement. On Monday, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia attended the funeral of Felipe's maternal uncle, King Constantine II of Greece, who passed away last week in Athens at the aged 82.
Constantine II reigned as the last King of Greece from 6 March 1964 until the abolition of the Greek monarchy on 1 June 1973. He was the younger brother of Queen Sofia of Spain who travelled to Athens prior to his death after hearing Constantine's health had deteriorated. Today she was accompanied to the Cathedral of the Annunciation of Santa María in Athens for the funeral by her husband, King Juan Carlos, and daughters, Elena and Cristina.
The Spanish royal family were joined by monarchs and royalty from around Europe.
Queen Letizia looked sombre in all black and opted for a déjà vu debut.
She donned a coat dress with a silhouette we first saw in green for Prince Philip's Service of Thanksgiving. The piece is fashioned with a shawl collar and velvet trim at the wait and cuffs. The designer has not been identified.
She wore diamond drop earrings, and pinned to her chest was the 'joyas de pasar' pearl and diamond brooch.
Rounding off the look were Letizia's Giorgio Armani La Charnière Dorée Top Handle Bag and Prada Saffiano leather pointy toe pumps
Following the service, the mourners made their way to the Royal Cemetery of the Tatoi Palace for the burial ceremony.
Queen Letizia added her black Mango 'Batin' Wool-Blend Coat and swapped her Prada pumps for the comfort of her block heel suede boots which she debuted last night.

The Queen of Spain chaired a meeting with the Student Residence Board in Madrid on Friday.
The Residencia de Estudiantes (Student Residence) was founded in 1910, as a cultural institution that helped foster and create the intellectual environment of Spain's brightest young thinkers, writers, and artists. Some of the most prominent figures of 20th-century Spanish culture emerged from among the residents, including Federico García Lorca, Salvador Dalí, Luis Buñuel and Severo Ochoa.
Today the Residence, among many other roles, organises numerous public events, in which many protagonists of the arts and sciences of the last decades take part. It also develops different research projects following two main lines: the study and dissemination of its historical legacy and the analysis of current intellectual trends in order to explore how our culture is evolving.
