The King and Queen of Spain arrived in Zagreb today for their first official trip to the Republic of Croatia.

The two-day visit marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and Croatia. King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were welcomed by President Zoran Milanović and First Lady Sanja Musić Milanović with an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in the capital.

In the afternoon, Their Majesties visited the Monument to the Fatherland where they made a floral offering.

Queen Letizia arrived in Croatia wearing a green coadress and her black Carolina Herrera fur-collar cape.

The midi coatdress with tonal velvet trim was first seen at Prince Philip's Service of Thanksgiving in London earlier this year.

Today Letizia carried a new black Carolina Herrera 'Victoria' Insignia Satchel Bag, and on her feet were her black Magrit croc-embossed leather pumps with bow.

This evening, the royal couple will be the guests of honour at a dinner hosted by the President & First Lady of Croatia.

This coat dress a la Kate's light blue version looks great on Letizia. I am not really liking the A-line skirt with the fur collar cape. It seems the cape would look better with a more tailored skirt like a pencil skirt. The dark green is a perfect color for fall!

The wonderful black fur-lined Carolina Herrera fur-lined cape looks absolutely stunning here, Letizia has sashayed into Croatia in style, especially with the immaculate updo. I love too that she has made a re-wear of the lovely deep green coatdress with velvet trim with its beautiful tailoring and fit.

The new black Herrera bag is smart, and while I'm not a big fan of raised insignia like that, I think it ties in well with the bow on her Magrit pumps. I don't personally like those bows either, but at least the two chime with each other and Letizia is most appropriately dressed for a state visit. I always love the Gold & Roses emerald earrings.

Its wonderful to see this beautiful green coatdress again. The A line skirt, perfect, sits and moves well. I love the velvet details of the cuffs and waistband, this is a lovely addition, and elevates the overall look. The black accessories, work in well. The Gold & Roses emerald earrings are always a joy to see. The Queen's hair up and her makeup look great.

Green with envy!
This cut of dress doesn't suit me so I am envious. I think it looks beautiful, sumptuous, cozy, and elegant. I agree that the cape would be striking over a pencil skirt but since the wearer is so petite, I don't mind it over the a-line here.
