Following the easing of Spain's strict COVID-19 lockdown, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia took the opportunity to visit the headquarters of the Madrid 112 Security and Emergency Agency on Monday.

Their Majesties presided over the daily meeting held by the 112 operation in the Community of Madrid and toured the 112 room where they witnessed the work of the operators; the Civil Guard, the National Police, Civil Protection, the Emergency Medical Service of Madrid-SUMMA, SAMUR-Civil Protection, Forest Agents and Fire Department of the Community of Madrid.
The King and Queen of Spain commended the work of the 112 Emergency Agency in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Queen Letizia looked professional in her dark blue Hugo Boss pant suit.

Over the weekend Their Majesties held telephone calls with; General Hospital Mateu Orfila in Menorca, Central University Hospital in Asturias, Hospital Sant Joan de Déu of the Althaia de Manresa Foundation in Barcelona, Hospital Universitario Severo Ochoa de Leganés in Madrid, Atencion Primaria de la Comunidad in Madrid, and Hospital Universitario de Basurto.
