Oh I remember this one. The last time we saw it, I said it was a "hot mess". The coat/dress/skirt whatever it is supposed to be, just looks silly. Perhaps it would be funky and trendy on a sixteen year old, but this top along with the wrinkly leggings is just too goofy for a Queen to wear.

So well put, Laura! Hot mess puts it most succinctly :))

That's a nice charity to support. I like the colour and design of the jacket, although the lower section looks a bit wider than the top part?
Great leather leggings. How does she walk in those shoes! They're fabulous though.

This outfit doesn't work for me and the Caroline Herrera top looks like a bundle of mistakes, most unusual for such a sophisticated designer. I think the chief culprit is the upper fringe which sits awkwardly on Letizia's hips, adding unnecessary weight to her slim figure, though I think I could live without both fringes, there's enough going on with contrast fabrics and texture. It's a fun and textile top to wear around children, though the racy leather Uterque leggings seem a touch out of place, especially among military types. Stiletto heels are equally out of place and a lower heel might have eased things up a bit.

I like certain aspects of this CH fringe coat. Both fringes are a major concern. The contrast fabric I unfortunately don't find attractive, it is not appealing to me at all. Without the excessive additions this coat has the prospects of looking chic and stylish, but needs a rework, overhaul. The racy leather leggings, for me, not at this event. Love the shoes. The Gold hoop earrings, terrific.
I have to mention the official in the green jacket, black skirt, jumper and lovely contrasting scarf, she looked very voguish and modern. I like this outfit very much. She looked very appropriately dressed.
P.S, this was a marvellous visit. The Charity provides a vital and important service. The little ones are adorable, they could easily take my heart! Bless them.

Ava, that lady is the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles. In Spain most Ministers are women.
