The King and Queen of Spain are currently on a State Visit to Sweden between the 23rd-25th November.  After their arrival in Stockholm, Their Majesties received a representation of the Spanish community residing in Sweden, at the Embassy of Spain in Stockholm.

One of the most relevant aspects of the bilateral relationship is the growing presence of Spaniards who have emigrated to Sweden, taking advantage of job opportunities. The Spanish community in Sweden has grown at a sustained rate in the last decade, to currently exceed 12,500 Spanish nationals registered in the Consular Registration Register, of which more than 12,000 are residents.
Queen Letizia repeated a look she wore for the Solemn Opening Ceremony of the XIV Legislature in February 2020 (shown below).

The Magrit studded snakeskin pattered pumps and clutch bag added an edgy element to the outfit, while the diamond and large pearl drop earrings added a touch of elegance.

I am not a fan of asymmetrical hems, but in this instance, this dress looks wonderful. The design and fit is very becoming. I think what elevates the look, is the gorgeous choice of accessories, the snakeskin patterned pumps and clutch bag. Combined with the stunning pearl and diamond drop earrings, which I love!. The CH fur collar cape is always a bonus to see and looks lovely in contrast to the dress. The Queen looks beautiful

I love seeing this creamy dress with its frayed edges and asymmetric hem. It is well enough cut that, despite those two features becoming more dated, the dress itself still works as an elegant piece for royal duties. The fit and flare with inset waistband and the slit neckline are beautifully executed to give both edge and class.

The snakeskin accessories are perfect and I love those drop earrings, the pearly touch is classic, while also being bold enough to add a dressy touch for a state visit.

Asymmetrical hems are passe and I wish Letizie would take all the ones she has and have the dresses cut across to make an even hem. Otherwise this is a beautiful dress. The snakeskin accessories elevate the look, as do the earrings
