I don't know why but it seems Letizia re-wears the outfits I really dislike multiple times. And the ones I love are worn only once or twice and I never see them again. I just can't appreciate the garish, wild print of this dress. It is eye-catching that's for sure. I will have to focus on the lovely shoes to avoid eye-strain.

The reappearance of this beautiful, exotic Sandro print really does herald that things could be getting back to something more like normal. Interesting that Letizia observes such detail in her accessories that she's not worn this serviceable combination of pale belt and slingbacks before, but I appreciate that it helps her to make some small difference in repeat appearances. I think the dark belt and shoes look better, but equally they might be reserved for evening use. It's equally well judged that she keeps her clutch dark. All those clambering dragons amid their feathery crown symbols fit right in with a visit to a museum of natural sciences.

Sadly, this dress hasn't grown on me. I was a little disappointed when I saw its return, but a familiar repeat keeps the focus firmly on the Queen's work. Despite my dislike for this piece, Letizia has remained consistently polished when wearing it, alternating between blue and nude accessories, patent slingbacks add lightness and lengthen the ensemble. Sandro has beautifully cut the dress, it elegantly skims the torso and hip area, without any gathering of excess fabric at the waist. The base colour of blush combined with the sheen of silk is sumptuous and softly compliments her complexion.

Exciting to see such a strong splash of colour! A beautiful silk dress. I love the way this dress sits, the bodice through to the waist falling gracefully, the silk would be a dream to wear. The delicate mix of orange - clever, not to be too overwhelmed by the blue print. Contrasting colour in shoes/belt, smart move to mix it up, though I loved the deep shade of blue in June last year. The clutch is a glorious shade of blue.
