Queen Letizia brings back The 2nd Skin Co Taffeta Dress for NATO Summit dinner

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain hosted an official dinner at the Royal Palace on Tuesday for Heads of States and Governments attending the NATO Summit in Madrid.

Queen Letizia wore her black The 2nd Skin Co Taffeta Dress, first seen at the 2021 Princess of Asturias Awards.

On her feet were the Manolo Blahnik 'Gotrianc' 105 Slingbacks.

She accessorized with joyas de pasar jewelry for the stately occasion including the diamond chanton earrings and bracelet.

This remains a usefully dramatic dress for a palace reception, and I like the basic 2nd Skin Co conception of fitted bodice and full gathered skirt. It's a combination that can look unflattering on any figure other Letizia's. My only concern is that the bodice looks a fraction short and might be pulling the waist up.

I remain in favour of the extravagant, party-time frou-frou of the exaggerated bows, hints of the 18th century and ballgowns there, helpfully kept in check by the sober black.

Letizia's hair looks wonderful in the tight updo and the joyas de pasar earrings and bracelet are displayed to perfection. The Blahnik Gotrianc slingbacks look elegant and light for evening wear.

This is a lovely gown, that I have grown to love. It must have made a dramatic entrance. Its both elegant and spectacular. It looks wonderful on movement, saw a little snippet on You tube. The joyas de pasar earrings and bracelet, what a splendid addition, beautiful diamond jewel pieces, wonderful to see them again. The MB Slingbacks look fabulous. I loved Q. Letizia's hair up, her makeup looked lovely.
