Today, Queen Letizia was at the National Police Academy in Avila to conduct a ceremonial flag presentation.
Her Majesty delivered the Flag of Spain to the National Police and made a speech in which she acknowledged the courageous work and service of the Spanish police force.
In the past, Queen Sofia set the sartorial tradition of wearing a long black dress and Spanish mantilla at flag presentation ceremonies. Prior to becoming Queen, Letizia had adhered to this dress code.
However, at her first flag presentation as Queen Consort, she broke with tradition and wore a white ensemble.
She continued the trend today, opting to repeat a white/black Felipe Varela dress.
The white wool crepe dress features a black and grey floral motif, buttoned front, banded waist and is finished with a Peter Pan collar. The dress made its debut in April 2012 when Letizia attended the 2012 Cervantes Prize.
Queen Letizia accessorized with her Magrit charcoal suede platform pumps and TOUS cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings.
She wore her hair in a pretty bun.

I adore this dress! Every time Queen Letizia wears it she looks absolutely fabulous. It's very elegant and suits her figure perfectly
