Queen Letizia looks chic in monochrome for FITUR 2022

The King and Queen of Spain presided over the inauguration of the 42nd edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid on Wednesday.

FITUR is an annual event for tourism professionals from around the world and is the main trade fair in Latin America. The five day event at IFEMA Recinto Ferial (fairgrounds) will bring together thousands of tourism companies from over 100 countries. This year, the Dominican Republic is the guest country of the FITUR 2022 edition.

Their Majesties were joined by The President of the Dominican Republic as they toured the halls and met with some of the exhibitors of the fair.

I love the checkered trenchcoat even though it doesn't have some the traditional details like a belt & epaulets. The black flaps on the sleeves add interest. I also appreciate how the coat does a great job in covering up the leather skinny pants that I don't like.

Nice look. I would love to see it with red shoes, adding a pop of colour. Also, a ballet flat, or shoe with a much lower heel would add an interesting dimension.

This is a fabulous, unusual trench coat. The sleeve flaps add appeal. I like this coordinated with the white turtleneck. I'm not sure how I feel about the leather leggings regardless the Queen looks great in them. The Chanel diamond star earrings, beautiful. I like the black leather shoes, with heel.
Previous wears 2015/16, two piece pantsuits she wore beautifully, very smart and stylish.
