Un Ballo in Maschera (A Masked Ball) was directed by Gianmaria Aliverta and performed in Italian. The plot is loosely based on the assassination of King Gustav III of Sweden, who was shot as the result of a political conspiracy while attending a masked ball in 1792, he died from his wounds thirteen days later.

It is a lovely repeat, a good dress that fits Lerizia to perfection and can be reused in many ways and events. A very good investment, I'd say.

I can help but feeling a little dissapointed since we have come to expect something new and glam just like her magnificent choices in 2018&2019. I understand, however, that this year we won't have much of that and this is the right path to follow. Still, I will miss to be taken away by Letizia's fabulous appearances. I really hope all this will be over soon and we are all back to normal.

This is such a beautiful dress and it fits Letizia to perfection. I really like it with red shoes and would have preferred a red clutch. I would say that the Queen needs to have her hair trimmed, but perhaps the pandemic situation impacts on this happening.

Delighted to see Letizia in another well-tailored designer piece, and she can re-wear this Caroline Herrera one as often as she likes as far as I’m concerned. The fit is lovely, which is an achievement with a full skirt, such a puff shape can challenge most figures. Letizia is in no way compromised, and it remains flattering, feminine, and chic.

The cut out lace is very pretty and keeps its character despite Letizia opting for a modest self-colour underslip rather than the original nude tone. Herrera slingbacks are perfect once again, a truly versatile style for her, and the gold Herrera tube clutch adds just the right amount of evening glam. I think she also has on a very dashing pair of large hoop earrings.

I can appreciate why the Queen reaches for this dress when she is in need of 'fail-safe' red cocktail attire. It's classic and fits perfectly. The structural shape of the skirt reminds me of a bell, during motion it held its form beautifully. I've found the slingbacks a little contrived when styled with navy, paired with the matching shade of tangy red they look divine. The gold highlights of the clutch and earrings add depth and prevent the ensemble from appearing too flat.

You can never put a foot wrong with this dress. Ticks all the boxes.
2018! A jaw dropper that deserves a repeat.

This is a beautiful red dress, a marvellous repeat. The lace inserts add interest and take this dress up a notch. I just love the bodice. The large hooped gold earrings are gorgeous and the red slingbacks are divine. Adding a splash of colour with her gold clutch, perfect choice.

No-one suits red more than Leti! She looks stunning. It's such a great shade and shape.
