The Queen of Spain attended audiences at the Palace of Zarzuela today.
Her Majesty first received representatives of the Federación de Distribuidores Cinematográficos 'FEDICINE' (Federation of Cinematographic Distributors) where she heard about the challenges facing the film distribution sector.
Queen Letizia later received representatives of the 'Fiscal Soledad Cazorla Prieto' Fundación Mujeres (Women's Foundation) Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are given to children whose mothers have died as a result of gender-based violence, and as a result, are economically and emotionally vulnerable.
Queen Letizia brought back separates from the outfit she wore in November 2019 for a visit to Seville.
The skirt is a custom piece by Carolina Herrera. The poppy print can be found on the designer's short-sleeve knit dress.
Below is a closer look at the black ruffled leather waist belt which Letizia has worn on numerous occasions.
The brand has remained a mystery but I have finally identified it! I found the same style in taupe by Burberry.
Today Letizia wore her black Steve Madden 'Dominique' over-the-knee suede boots.
She finished the look with her gold bamboo design huggie hoop earrings.

The foundation's name refers to Soledad Cazorla, who was a special prosecutor ("fiscal" in Spanish) for gender violence issues. She died not so long ago. Hence the name.

Looks great! I prefer the styling to what we saw in November. Then I thought the red shoes made the look disconnected. Here the boots really ground the skirt and I think the belt is fantastic.

The contrast between red and black is very striking in this outfit. The HB blouse is a wonderful design with the gathering at the neck creating interest. I appreciate the workmanship of the flower detail in the skirt. I think the same pattern in the dress version is a bit overwhelming so the skirt was a better choice. The suede boots are a nice change from shoes and appropriate since it is winter.

For me, this re-wear is a vast improvement on the ensembles' first outing in Seville. The Queen looks wonderful today, the silk blouse and printed skirt are beautifully styled and showcased to full effect. Red and black are refined, previously, the two colours were chequered throughout the outfit, as a result, it appeared incohesive overall. Red has successfully been used as an accent colour, the top bleeds into the high waisted skirt, from the waist down the ensemble is mainly black which grounds the look. Generally, I am not keen on Steve Madden footwear but, a benefit of microsuede is that it doesn't seem to scuff as easily as suede and presents well in photographs. The rolled-up cuffs add a touch of informality to the outfit, there is less red to contend with and the bare arms create a needed breathing space. If this skirt is repeated it may look stylish combined with a sky blue turtleneck and pearl drop earrings, highlighting the less dominate colours in the poppies.

I agree with all you've said, Jennifer. I love this entire outfit and find it to be so much better than when the skirt was worn previously. The boots look amazing! I like your idea to team this skirt picking up the blue.

A beautiful outfit. The skirt is gorgeous, the craftsmanship and detail of the skirt blends in perfectly together. Red against the black backdrop is very effective. The boots work in well with the length of the skirt. Love the belt, sits in nicely with both the blouse, skirt. HB silk blouse is really lovely, gathering at the neck, creates attention, perfect. Hair and makeup so natural. Very elegant look.

I love everything poppy print so I'm happy to see this skirt again. I like it worn with the boots and it's a great winter look. Well done Elizabeth on the belt ID! You are a true master and I honestly don't know how you do it especially for items that are so 'old'.

I love seeing this cheerful Herrera print skirt again and with the Hugo Boss blouse. The long boots work well with the outfit, though I'm glad we're not subject to the twee cape this time.

Yes she's had it for sometime and worn it on many occasions. Do you think this was the first?

Yes it is the same belt. Letizia has worn it on several occasions. I don't recall when she debuted it but perhaps this picture you shared from 2012 may have been the first time she worn it.

I do not know either, I found it in pinterest by chance and I thought you might be interested. She got married in 2004 so it is almost impossible to know it. Internet helps a lot though. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
