FameLab is an international competition to find and support the world's most talented new science communicators. Participants have three minutes to win over the judges and audience with a scientific talk that excels for its content, clarity and charisma. Cheltenham Science Festival in the United Kingdom held the first FameLab in 2005. Its partnership with the British Council in 2007 took the competition globally, and to date, more than 40,000 scientists and engineers have taken part.

I feel only Letizia could manage anything so edgy from her recycle wardrobe and the Other Stories leather remains as on-form as ever. I guess nude stilettos remain a safe choice and the Coolook hoops are a welcome light touch. The Queen has regularly pulled out some fashion-forward outfits for this event and this latest is a worthy addition to the others.

There is nothing I like about this look. It is sombre and heavy, although I suppose edgy. Of course, my opinion is based on the fact, that I dislike leather in anything other than a coat/jacket, shoes or purse. Worn as a dress, skirt, or pants I see it as being stiff, with zero drape and presenting a very harsh look. Observe how the sleeves point out in a totally inflexible stance. Even the softest of leather looks rigid.

I agree with you Laura. But I do think leather skirts can look very good if they are paired with the right top or blazer. But leather pants and dresses are just too much.

This is a stylish and modern outfit. I confess to preferring the styling of this outfit in 2019, it was more polished, smart and groomed looking. Regardless of how I feel the Queen looks fabulous. It was interesting to look back in time at the Fashion flashback. 2018 was the pick for me.
