I'm so happy you are back, Elizabeth! I have been very worried about you and all Australians (people and animals). I'm hoping and praying the situation improves soon. Let's hope the heavy rain that is forecast will help. Please remember my thoughts are with you and take care of yourself.

Hello. First of all Im glad you are fine Elizabeth! Unfortunatley i dont like the leggings, they are not very suitable for a Queen and tbh i dont like tight leggings on anyone.

Nicely coordinated outfit of repeat items, although I would have preferred dress pants instead of leggings. Somehow leggings seem a tad undignified for a royal. I agree with Mary Rose, tight leggings don't really flatter anyone.

The Queen looks great, modern and chic. I am not a fan of leggings, prefer dress pants but regardless the Queen wears them well. Love the houndstooth blazer it looks so classy and elegant.

The govermment in Spain now is a mixture of lefties and exteme lefties (republicans- antimonarchist) They are not even accompaning her to the events.

Thanks for the update! Sounds like Letizia might have more leeway in modern fashion choice in that case.

Letizia has only one event next week, the new govermment is doing her schedule smaller. We'll see. Irene Montero, the Minister of Equality did not go with her to the last engagement.

I'm a bit late to the party here. I like the leggings because the jacket is long enough. I love the bag and shoes. What I don't like so much is the large houndstooth pattern but it's fine. I always like how she wears leather and edgy, younger, pieces.

This is a fine example of the great finds that can be found on the high street. The leather trousers are several years old and are still current seasons later. I'm sure the jacket will prove to be an equally transitional piece. Over time the crystal buttons can be replaced or removed with a more subdued set if necessary, without compromising the jackets 'statement' appeal (the crystal buttons are merely for show, the jacket fastens with studs which can be seen when worn open). I'm particularly impressed with the placement of the oversized houndstooth, it's been sensitively matched across seam lines and pocket flaps. The slim fit tapers in, emphasising the waist, creating an attractive silhouette. Chic black styling allows the jacket to take centre stage, the sleek leather trousers neatly contrast the textured fabric and complement the structured 80s shape.

I'm so pleased to see you back I don't even mind an oversized houndstooth jacket!. In fact Letizia wears this Uterque well, it's very rock-and-roll with the leather leggings and fierce Magrit stilettos. The Hugo Boss clutch is businesslike and neat and I love seeing those diamond studs again. A great working outfit.
