On the eve of her 45th birthday, Queen Letizia joined her husband, King Felipe VI for the opening of the Scholar University College year at the Salamanca University.
The event was also a celebration of the 8th centenary of the institution.
The Spanish queen stepped out in a familiar Felipe Varela ensemble featuring a white peplum wool jacket and cornflower blue silk full-circle skirt.
She first wore the 1950's inspired outfit during a visit to Belgium in November 2014 and then repeated it at the pre-ceremony lunch for Cervantes Prize winner in April 2015. Last June, Letizia refreshed the look for summer with a white Carolina Herrera blouse.
Queen Letizia accessorized with the same cornflower blue Magrit suede pumps and ocean blue clutch bag by Felipe Varela as worn on previous occasions.
She coordinated the look with her blue stone and mother of pearl dangle earrings by TOUS.
