The Princess of Asturias Foundation is a private non-profit institution, whose aims are to contribute to the promotion of all the scientific, cultural and humanistic values that form part of the universal heritage of humanity and consolidate the existing links between the Principality of Asturias and the title traditionally held by the heirs to the Crown of Spain.   King Felipe VI has been Honorary President of the Foundation since its creation in 1980. After his proclamation as King of Spain in 2014, his eldest daughter Leonor is now the Honorary President of this institution.
Later in the afternoon, Their Majesties met with the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. King Felipe VI and the President of the Portuguese Republic went on to present the Iberian candidacy for the '2030 FIFA World Cup' and attended a friendly match between the National Teams of Spain and Portugal.

This dress fits nicely and I do like the bodice's sunburst detail. Every time Letizia has worn this dress, she's had black shoes and purse. I think it would look so much nicer with navy accessories.

Navy and black are almost the same and hard to differentiate especially from far away. I doubt it would make much difference. Perhaps off white accessories would make the dress pop.

Hi Sandy, I respectfully disagree that navy and black are almost the same, although of course, at a great distance it wouldn't matter. This engagement wasn't at a distance. If I am wearing blue, then I always wear navy accessories and the blue in the outfit and the navy shoes and purse look cohesive. I believe that the butterflies in the bodice of Letizia's dress are navy. That said, wearing black with blue is not awful, but in my opinion it is just not as nice as navy.

A subdued and pretty dress from Bottega Veneto which is proving its workmanlike qualities on repeated outings. The stitching detail on bodice and skirt is charming although the waistline looks as if it's pulled a little high on Letizia. With its open V-neckline and short sleeves it has a summery feel despite very businesslike shade of petrol blue.

Black accessories continue to work well, as does the quiet sparkle of the trusty Gold & Roses dagger earrings.

This is a very pretty, sedate dress. The detail on the bodice adds interest. Love the colour. Its always a joy to see the Dagger earrings.
