The forum was coordinated by The London School of Economics and Political Science LSE, in partnership with the Abertis Foundation who conducted a study to evaluate eight countries with different levels of wealth to pinpoint areas where traffic accident fatalities can be decreased for victims 17 years and under. The study also highlighted the impact child traffic accidents have on the economy and society.

Queen Letizia repeated a look she first wore for an audience at the palace in January, and again at the launch of the '(In)Formate' project in April.

The Shein skirt in the "shop for less" section is exactly the same as the Zara skirt. I wonder if it was made by the same manufacturer and they just changed the labels. At $15 bucks it's a great buy.

I'm afraid that I like this outfit less and less every time I see it. I don't think the flimsy skirt was worthy of a third wear. There are lovely items to be found in Zara, I don't think this piece showcases the best of the brand. I would rather have seen a quality repeat. As I have mentioned previously, I'm not fond of shiny fabrics, the belt loops lean in different directions and the waistline sits unevenly under the belt. Most jarringly, there is no hang or movement, the polyester material may be causing static, resulting in the skirt sticking to the sweater and thigh-high boots underneath. The clean styling adds polish and the Queen appears smart, but it is her innate elegance that sells this look, not the skirt or microsuede boots - generally, I'm not keen on Steve Madden footwear. I read on Hola that this skirt was a 'bestseller'...(if true) I wonder if that was after Letizia endorsed it, popular garments usually sell out and don't receive hefty markdowns, this skirt was priced at 13 Euros in the sale. This piece may translate well in posed Instagram shots with filters but it doesn't hold up in natural photographs taken from all angles.

Jennifer, it is,very normal that you can find skirts by 13 Euros in Spain. People buys many items but not very expensive to change and as most women work outside you have a spare until the washing machine. I have dresses by 20 Euros. And we wait until January (sales) to buy most of them. This is a modest country and people have mortages, children, etc.. so it is abnormal here at all, we try to be fashionable but not wasting money in clothes.
Letizia must show austerity which is that the country asks for.....she does it well.

Hi Wendy, I think it's great that Letizia wears affordable clothing and is sensitive to the mood of Spain. You mentioned earlier in the year that Amancio Ortega gave a huge amount of money to the health service, it's wonderful that she continues to support the brand! Sorry, I didn't explain myself very well, what I meant was if this piece was a 'bestseller' before she endorsed it, I doubt that it would have been marked down so handsomely. I love Zara! just not this skirt, and wonder if the sale price was a reflection of (possible) lower sales before she was seen wearing it. Duchesses Catherine and Meghan may wear something here from the high street, where the sales are average, but, as soon as they are seen wearing it public demand is huge and it instantly becomes a bestseller.

Jennifer, the King and Queen of Spain are diplomatics, they lack of any ejecutive power (the Queen of UK HAS ejecutive power and opend the parlament). Here they have only a representative rol and they must do what the govermment points out. Even the "tours" are set by the President of the govermment and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. All is more calculated than you think.
Kisses.

I'd forgotten about those belt loops, I think they drove me nuts last time. I agree they make for a less polished look and the skirt fit round the waist is a bit uneven. But the snakeskin print remains a fun choice for me. It's possible that I think of it as 'not-bad' for a High Street label and am sparing it any laser-vision critical quality I might inflict on something more high-end.

This skirt looks so limp and lacking in quality. The boots and black sweater seem to need a more substantial skirt, perhaps one in wool, rather than polyester. The belt loops are not straight and if they have to be present, loops in black would be less distracting. I can see the want/need to repeat expensive outfits, but for this skirt, once was enough.

Victoria of Sweden repeats H&M clothes non-stop and she is the Crown Princess in a wealthy country. So in Spain the Queen can repeat Zara outfits too.

Has anyone found a more affordable alternative to these earrings?

I like this outfit, because its something I could wear, feel comfortable in and at least try and look chic! The skirt may have what I call certain deficits but one could get away with the look. The price is certainly affordable. Its great to see the Queen mix things up with more affordable garments on occasion. This is casual but the Queen wears it with poise and style. The double dagger earrings are divine.

I love his little outfit, that snakeskin print skirt from Zara works so well and is nicely paired with the black top and over-the-knee Steve Madden boots. I don't mind the repeat outfit at all, and admire Letizia for at least changing her earrings each time, all of which have worked well.
