This dress is okay...not fabulous, not awful. The handkerchief hemline is getting old and if I were Letizia, by now I would have had the pointed pieces cut off and the hem made straight. The colour of the shoes and purse do a good job of bringing out that colour in the print. Like many of us, Letizia could use a haircut. Where I live it is at least two more months before hair salons open.

In Spain hairdressers have been open, they only were shut for two months in March and April 2020, they have been considered a priority thing. Many people goes to the hairdresser every week in Spain. It is her choise. There have not been contagions at all either in salons or cinemas, theatres, museums...with the proper rules. The risker things are gatherings as weddings, birthdays, etc..

What an eminently sensible idea, Laura. If the pointed ends were cut off the dress might be rendered wearable at least!

This is a lovely dress, until get to the hemline. Not a fan of the handkerchief hemline, they have had there day. I love the colour choice of accessories. The two tone belt is a great addition breaks down the pattern.

I've never been a big fan of this dress, but it strikes me worse this time. I think the problem with constant recycling is that at some point the wearer is going to look out of fashion, and this handkerchief hem seems extra dated as a result. It's a pretty print, but the fabric is so fluid the pattern gets lost in multiple folds which themselves look a bit messy to me.

Wonder if this dress could be saved from looking like an indoor/cooking outfit, by a medium-wide belt (in color of the shoes, or anything else close to another color on the dress).
