The King and Queen of Spain continued their tour to all of the Autonomous Communities with a day trip to Vinuesa and Soria in the region of Castilla y León. The objective is to support the recovery of social, economic and citizen activity following the COVID-19 lockdown.
Their Majesties arrived in Vinuesa, a municipality located in the province of Soria. They held a meeting with institutional representatives and experts from the Autonomous Community. After the meeting, the King and Queen toured the town and conversed with a group of elders, who informed them of how their lives had developed in Vinuesa, including the future prospects with the commitment to rural and sustainable tourism.
Already in Soria, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia arrived at the Antonio Machado de Soria Institute of Secondary Education, they held a meeting with representatives of different sectors of the province, they were notified of future projects and the current situation in Soria.
Their Majesties then toured the city centre, concluding their trip at the Palacio de la Audiencia de Soria where they saw a model of the city that commemorates the 900th anniversary of the founding of Soria, which was celebrated in 2019.

I actually like the shoes/espadrilles. The style is original, interesting and imaginative. The tan or brown colour goes well with the dress.

I like the dress better with the sleeves rolled up. The long dress with overall print and long sleeves seems to be just too much. The espadrilles go well with the more casual styling.

As demonstrated with the green Maje dress in Majorca, floaty asymmetrical hemlines need to ideally be worn in non-windy and non-active environments. The style can easily look messy and jagged which is the result here. This dress needs sleek styling like we have previously seen, however, heels and glossy hair would not have been practical for the day's agenda. The wedges work colourwise (Letizia was wise to change the original straps so they didn't clash against the print of the dress), but the styles do not gel. I would have kept the wedges and re-worn them with the Mango olive jumpsuit 2/08/19 (if this jumpsuit would have been appropriate for the day's events). Considering the devastating effects of the pandemic, I suspect that we will see very few new clothes for the remainder of 2020. If there are new pieces in 2021, I hope that we see a departure from asymmetrical hemlines, I feel that two years of strongly endorsing this trend is enough.

I appreciate the videos you include. In this one, we can see how beautifully the dress moves, which is more than half of its charm. A perfect choice for this occasion. The espadrilles to go with the dress are an inventive choice, not only because the color goes so well with the dress but because they must be easier for walking on those rough outdoor surfaces than heels would have been. Besides, espadrilles are summery and this pair is especially striking the way they tie over her legs. Her hair is perfect, up and off her neck on what must have been a very warm day. All in all, fashion perfection.

I think I managed ok with this Hugo Boss the first time around, but it's hitting me all wrong today. I seem to be out of patience with handkerchief hems which are looking tired to me now, and I've also managed to go off the idea of the orange print on a pink background, which is fine really, just unusual which something that generally appeals to me.

Hi Bertie, I'm losing my patience with asymmetrical hemlines too. Where Letizia's choices are quite bold (like this dress and the green Maje worn several weeks ago), repeats are familiar and it feels like a never-ending run of this style. I've never appreciated an straight hemline more!

It's a relief when a hem is on the level these days!

I dont mind this dress, but not a fan of the handkerchief hems either. The two tone of the belt is a nice touch. She is appropriately dressed for the visit. It is great to see the King and Queen touring and keeping updated.
