Queen Letizia restyles Hugo Boss denim dress for "Women and Internationalization" event

The Queen of Spain was at the headquarters of The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism on Friday to attend a presentation of the report conducted by the 'Working Group' on "Women and Internationalization of the Spanish Economy".

The Working Group was launched in 2019 by the Secretary of State for Trade within the framework of the II Action Plan to Support Internationalization and within the Internationalization Strategy of the Spanish Economy 2017-2027. It is made up of representatives of the government administrations as well as university institutions and the business sector, in order to identify problems and find joint solutions.

At the event, Her Majesty was presented with the findings of the Working Group report on “Women and Internationalization” and heard how more promotion is need to encourage greater participation of women in international activity. The report highlighted the importance of promoting greater visibility and training, the incorporation of gender clauses in trade agreements, and greater financial support for women.

This denim dress is so, so much nicer with the nude accessories. I still find the bell cuffs a little odd but overall I like this!

Denim dresses are a favorite of mine. I see Letizia has accessorized the dress differently each time it has been worn. This time around the beige belt and shoes along with the upturned cuffs looks sharp. But I'm not sure about the belt. It may be too thick, chops her off in the middle and stands out too much. I'd like to know what other posters think.

Sadly I have never liked this dress; the stretch denim looks stiff, the design is nondescript and the fit does little to enhance the Queen's figure. I don't find the blush accessories complementary either. Casual styling wouldn't be appropriate for Letizia, but the dress may look stronger worn informally - I believe Hugo Boss paired the dress with sneakers (link below). Despite my criticisms, Letizia looks perfectly presentable and I love the multi-stone Tous drop earrings! The earrings have looked quite striking in the past with red dresses and a teal gown, I hope we see more of them in the future.

Compared to how the other women were dressed I felt that this dress was too casual for the occasion. The nude belt and shoes dressed the dress up a bit, but you can only dress up denim so much.

The Hugo Boss denim shirt dress is a handy piece, comfy as well as formal enough for work meeting, and Letizia's one looks to have a touch of feminine A-line in the skirt, which I'm not seeing in the studio shot.

The original belt is well enough but I'm not a fan of this nude version,it looks a touch stark and awkward to me. The nude pumps work well enough, but I'd prefer to keep to a dark belt.The Beethoven earrings are a fun boho touch to chime with the denim.

I like denim dresses, although the sleeve cuffs on this one detract. I think of denim as a strictly casual look and so the shoes and the belt are too fancy. The original stripped belt (without the piece that hangs down) looked better. Or I'd prefer a denim belt. With denim a sandal, sneakers, or some sort of flat shoe would coordinate better. I love the earrings, but again they are too elegant to be paired with denim.

This denim dress is a miss for me. I am not a fan of stretch denim material. The nude colour accessories are a miss also for me. Regardless of my tastes the Queen looks lovely.
P.S If I may mention, what I did like was the burgundy dress (I think that is what the colour is on my computer screen anyway) the lady to the right in front row of 2nd pic was wearing, really lovely.

I'm happy to see Queen Letizia opted to restyle this dress with different accessories rather than repeat the outfit. However, this look is a miss for miss for me even thought Letizia looks stunning.
