The Queen of Spain presided over the opening ceremony of the 2021/2022 School Year at CEIP 'Odón de Buen' and IES 'Gallicum' in the Zaragoza town of Zuera.

Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the opening ceremony of the 2021/2022 School Year at CEIP 'Odón de Buen' and IES 'Gallicum' in the Zaragoza town of Zuera on 8th September

The CEIP Odón de Buen is a publicly owned Early Childhood and Primary Education Centre. Currently, the centre is divided into two school buildings, located in the San Juan neighbourhood and in the centre of town.

The IES Gallicum is a publicly owned Secondary Education Institute located in the Bajo Gállego region. Studies included; ESO, Baccalaureate and Educational Cycles.

Her Majesty began her visit at the CEIP Odón de Buen where she visited the psychomotor and multisensory stimulation rooms, which were followed by the library. Later, the Queen moved to IES Gallicum where she toured the facilities and held a working meeting.

I love cold-shoulder tops but I think they look better with long sleeves.
I think you lose some of the dramatic effect with short sleeves. I'm happy to see children back in school but holding my breath we won't see a resurgence of the virus.

Here in Spain children have always been at school since septiembre 2020 a and there have not been problems with the right protocol. They are coming back from vacations.

In Spain 74% of the people are fully vaccinated, and almost 90% have one shot, the 5th best of the world , the first with a lot of population, so we are living in the new normal already.

Letizia looks crisp and businesslike for her day at school with the classic navy and white mix outfit. Her cold shoulder top is stylishly contemporary while remaining classy and appropriate and her fashionable Hugo Boss cut-offs are wearing well with their smart rows of buttons down each leg. The new Castaner colourblock wedges work well, the dark monochrome helps smarten up what can become a shapeless style of shoe, and is a useful balance against the dark crops. Great styling from Letizia.

There is not much appeal of this outfit for me. Personally I don't like cold-shoulder tops, nor wide legged, cropped pants, nor wedge shoes. However, a navy/white combo is always chic.

This shirt looks sleek and stylish untucked. Tucked in it comes across as awkward and heavy. The clunky effect of the wide-legged crop isn't something I appreciate but it's a fine trouser otherwise.

Classic Navy and white is my favorite combination, and this is no different. The cold shoulder top is very appealing, combined with the navy HB wide leg pants, in this instance I love this outfit. The row of descript buttons down the leg is a nice touch and adds interest. The Navy wedges looks fabulous, I love the rich tone. This was a marvellous visit with the school children well done .
